A small acorn is dedicated to the fun and practical things that kids and their adults can do to address the climate crisis. The brains and voices behind A Small Acorn are Nate (age 8) and Amy (Nate’s mom). Nate learned about the climate crisis in school and wanted to get kids to do something about it. Amy has worked as a sustainability professional for the past fifteen years – first at a community environmental non-profit, then in the sustainability office of a small college, and now as a consultant.
